ABOUT

Hire our style boutique is a Melbourne based rental company based in Pascoe Vale (3044). We offer rentals Australia wide, with postage Interstate for $14 each way ($28 return). Hire our style sources a range of Australian and International designers and allows customers to rent, wear and return while also contributing to the sustainable fashion practices. 

 

All bookings to secure a garment can be done through Instagram DM, as we aim to keep our customer service very personalised so we can answer any questions or queries you may have.

 

Try ons are based in Pascoe vale, and can be done through ‘book now’. 

T's & C's

(All must be agreed before renting)

 

 ID:

 A photo of ID must be collected when booking a garment, it will be kept within HOS and terminated once the item has been returned. No details will be revealed, due to Privacy.

 

   TRY ONS:

  • ALL try-ons must be booked through “book now”.

  • Please ensure the garment you would like to try on is available in your size / date before booking. 

  • We do not hold garments for try-ons.

  • One try per person is $10. The $10 will be deducted from the rental fee if booked a garment within 24 hours of the try on. Otherwise, it will be forfeited & a $10 will need to be applied for a new booking.

  • If you have booked in a dress via DM & want to try it on after booking. Your $10 will not be deducted 

  • Any damage done during the try on must be paid for.

  • Please come to a try on with no makeup / no fresh tan to ensure the garments stay clean. 

 

PROMO

  • 2nd hire 10% off, 5th free valued at $50. The 5th free rental is valued at $50 and can be used at any time.

  • Your postage is NOT included in the $50 promo. 


 

     PAYMENT: 

  • Bookings are only fully confirmed until a deposit/full payment is made through bank transfer. 

  • No garments are held for try on’s, simply first in best dress unless payment is made. 

  • Payment is made via bank transfer or cash. 

  • Your booking is held for 24 hours with no payment, if 24 hours pass with no payment, the garment will be available for other clients. Bookings are only held of the days Monday-Wednesday due to postage requirements. No 24hour holds apply outside these days.

 

       CANCELLATIONS: 

  • 24 hours plus notice for a cancellation and will result in a store credit 

  • If you have picked up your garment and realise you would like to swap a garment that is only possible if the garment is available, and therefore a swap can be done. 

  • A refund is only applicable through Hire our style canceling the garment, due to damage or a garment not returned in time.

  • If you no longer would like your garment a cancellation of 24 hours is required to receive a store credit VALID FOR 12 MONTHS SINCE CANCELLATION. 

  • If there is a pandemic or any circumstance out of our control, credit note is only redeemable 

  • Credit does not include postage. Only rental item value. 

 

     LATE FEES:

  • RETURNS are SUNDAY and MONDAY

  • If you require a longer hire period, this must be discussed whilst booking and before payment. 

  • If returning your garment via AusPost, the item must be express posted back 2 days after the hire date (usually a monday) providing a tracking receipt. However if rented for an event during the week (Monday - Thursday) the garment must be posted back / dropped off next day! 

  • Late fees ($10 per day) will apply if your garment is not returned by the due date, and the garment is not express posted as it will mean cancellations will need to be made to the following client. 

  • A late fee can apply if tracking details have not been sent through

  • A late fee can also apply if the dress was not expressed post and can result in a late fee per day or a fee to compensate the client after who must be refunded.

 

     POSTAGE:

  • All postage is done by Express post within AusPost. 

  • Postage is $28 including return. 

  • You will be sent a return slip (QR CODE) that you will just show the post office once bringing the new satchel with the garment into the post office. You will NOT print out this QR code, simply just show your post office. You must then bring your parcel INTO a POST OFFICE and lodge it over the counter and show the receipt. Please note, we can track your return to ensure that it is returned on the due date.

  • You can NOT place the parcel into a street posting box. We must require this to be lodged over the counter in a Post Shop.

  • When returning an item, if you do not provide lodgement this can be classified as a “missing” or “late” item, and therefore a late fee, or missing item fee (RRP) will apply.

  • In the case your item does not arrive due to AusPost, you will receive a credit note if your garment is returned in its original condition and still in packaging. The credit note does not include postage. If you’d like the postage refund, you will have to claim this through Aus Post for delays. 

  • If you have written the wrong address on your form for postage, and would like to change it, this will come at a cost done with Aus Post. 

  • You will sign the declaration on behalf of your return. 


 

        CLEANING: 

  • ALL garments are dry cleaned and included in the hire price. Therefore it is expected you do not clean or try to clean your garment. 

  • If garments have been tempted to clean, and are damaged, this will be classified as a damaged item and the RRP must be paid.

  • All garments must be returned in the garment bag if provided.

 

        DAMAGE: 

  • Please treat all garments as if they are your own. If you realise a damage once received, please kindly send us a photo of the damage. If this is not done, you will be liable for the damage. However, all garments are checked over before renting out, and some garments may have wear and tear, but only acceptable garments are rented out. 

  • We do not put the RRP on our images. It is your responsibility to ask if you would like to know, so you are aware of how much the garment costs

  • Any damage that occurs during the rental period, such as pulls, loss of zip, rips, tears, holes & non removable stains must be paid for and can cost up to the full RRP to be replaced. 

  • No alterations can be made during your rental period, otherwise this will be classified as “damaging” the garment, and therefore must be paid.

 

       REFUNDS:

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind/cancellations! STORE CREDIT ONLY.

  • Please be 100% when renting, try ons are allowed for this reason. 

  • Please mind that you do not get store credit for postage 

 

       YOUR RENTAL ONLY:

  • The garment is strictly the renters, it is not allowed to be shared within friends. 

  • If a friend would like to wear the dress, contact must be made. 

 

     PICKUPS:

  • Pickups are Thursday onwards. If required earlier please contact us! 

  • A refund can not be made if you are unable to pick up the garment between these days.
